- _c_m_s_O_p_e_n_P_r_o_f_i_l_e must be called before reading from or writing to a
- profile. It must also be called before adding a profile to a transform.
- 0me is a pointer to a null-terminated string. _p_r_o_f is a pointer to a
- _C_M_S_P_r_o_f_i_l_e. The profile will be initialized by the color management
- system, and can be used in subsequent calls. Tag data is only avail from
- an open profile. An attempt to open a non-existent file will result in
- an error, CMS_PROFILE_NOT_FOUND.
-
- Profiles may be specified using either absolute or relative paths. If no
- path prefix is found before the profile name, the CMS uses a profile
- search path to look for the profile. The profile search path may be set
- with the environment variable CMS_PROFILE_PATH, which is a colon
- separated list of paths. If that variable is not set, a default path is
- used. The default path may be found in the header file "cms.h".
-
- EEEERRRRRRRROOOORRRRSSSS
- CMS_OUT_OF_MEMORY
- There is not enough memory available to open the profile.
-
- CMS_PROFILE_NOT_FOUND
- No profile was found corresponding to name.
